Thanks for stopping by to find out more about me. I’m Brent, a 30-something dude from Louisiana, (now in Florida) who has been traveling for many years. I’m also the adventure-loving, wine/coffee/bourbon drinking, culture-seeking, wander-lusting writer who founded this travel blog.

Prior to starting this website, I was just your average guy, living a “normal-ish” life – complete with proper full-time job, a minimalist apartment, a Jeep, and a sweet home gym.  Then, I took a job where it required me to travel…all-the-time.

Suddenly, I was away more than I was home because in my time off I was traveling personally as well. I have a pretty stressful job and what I began to notice was that one of the few things I was looking forward to was the travel.  I didn’t mind working from an airplane or from the terminal.  I didn’t mind renting a car and enjoying that new car smell.  Then, in my time off, all I wanted to do was to travel to the places I wanted to go in my “real life.”

Then, it dawned on me…why not share what I’ve learned to make traveling easier and more fun for everyone by starting a blog?

And now we are here…
